Ammunition Doll quietly slunk up to the camera that was her prey. She didn't need to be watched. It was rare to find cameras out this far. After all, she was probably only a mile or two from the Fuck You House. She had been walking since the music had ended.
The camera froze in an ideal place, having caught a movement, and she swung her reinforced violin bow. (What, did you think it was just a bow? That motha's got metal in and around it!) The camera was cleaved in two--death by music.
She continued walking. When she found a large boulder, she sat under it, trying to escape the sun. She pulled out her radio, tuning it randomly to try to pick up on anything.
"the...brains f...ed like eggs. In 4-6 No umbrella can protect your pretty faces from the poison. Corruption in Battery City. Our resources dwindle as buildings spread like a disease. Signing off from Cracked News. The Lonely News."
Lonely was right. Ammo sighed and turned off the radio. She'd have to jack more batteries from a vend later. This was so not milkshake.
Suddenly a shiver wracked her body. Withdrawals. They had come too soon. Shit. That slam-dealer had given her some of the weak slam, labeled as strong. The fucker. She would ghost that bitch the next time she saw him, and play pick up sticks with his supplies.
She crumpled into a ball, trying to absorb the heat that surrounded her. The chills persisted.
"Fuck..."

Misfit Banshee made her way out of the club. Her mind reeling with thoughts of what was going to happen to her if she got caught. She then saw another figure as she made her way out in the sun. Banshee was worried as her mind raced whoever was out there didn't look like she was having the best time. Running and seemingly out of breath Banshee bent down to look at the girl who was crumpled into a ball. " Hey you okay?" She asked as she put a hand onto the others shoulder. " I wont hurt you..." Banshee said this reassuringly as she continued to look at the girl.

Ammunition Doll flinched when she heard the voice and felt the hand upon her shoulder. She lashed out quickly with her violin bow. Right before she hit the girl, she realized that she wasn't a Drac, so stopped.
"I...I-I'm s-s-s-sick," she hissed, sinking back into the sand. She shivered violently. "Promise?" she asked suddenly. She didn't want to get hurt. She didn't trust many, but found that manipulation was also handy. If this chick had any sympathy, it would be used.

Misfit Banshee looked at the girl as she almost got hit with violin bow as she went back but then saw the girl stop. " Your sick ? What sort maybe i can help and I promise that I won't hurt you." She said as she tried to figure out a way for her to help the poor girl that was on the ground.
" We need to get you something....the only thing I have is this." Banshee said as she produced from her bag a cansiter of acidic water. It was the only thing that she carried with her besides her purple ray gun which she tried to hide.

"I...have a condition. It requires medication...I...am having withdrawals." Doll's voice was muffled through the gas mask. She clung to the ground, scratching with her hands, trying to get a grip on herself.
"I need to be dehydrated," she explained. "Keeps the slam longer." She stopped talking and propped herself up against the boulder.

" You need medicaton for what exactly? " Banshee shuddered a bit at the thought of being medicated. Damn she hated medication and now she probably would have to help this girl get some. Just my luck, Banshee thought to herself as her eyes never strayed away from the girl. I am not sure how I can help you....I honestly hate medication." She muttered the last part hoping that she wasn't heard.

"I just. Need. It." Doll growled from underneath her mask. "I'm not an addict, I swear. I just need my medication. I'm sick..."
Doll looked up at the other desperately. "I...need it to stabilize my moods and hormones..." she finally muttered. It kept her sane, kept her empty, kept her relatively normal.

" I didn't accuse you of being an addict...I can't help you get any medication though. Slams arent my thing. So we need to get you up and moving out of here to somewhere safe." Banshee explained to the girl. " What's your name by the way? I am Misfit Banshee." She said as she took and extended her hand for the other to take so Banshee could help her up.

"I need my medication!" Ammunition Doll yelled. She paused, suddenly regretful. "...Sorry. I just feel like shit. Going some place safe is a good idea. Let's go."
She accepted the hand up, holding still for a moment so she could regain her balance. "I'm Ammunition Doll." Her hand stayed firmly on Banshee's shoulder.

"Where shall we head, I mean I don't know the area that well outside of Battery city." Banshee said as she helped Doll to her feet. As she helped Doll walk her eyes scanned the area as she looked back at Doll. " So any ideas?"

"We'll head further in towards the city. It's risky because of the cams, but there are some cliffs we can take shelter in." Doll began to lead the way.
"Why's a lamb like you on the run?" she asked suddenly. This girl seemed too innocent to be able to survive out here.

" I'm on the run cause my family tried to medicate me....'cause they said I'm not "normal" in their eyes." Banshee's voice wavered as she continued talking. " I am normal though they just are infleunced by those fucking idiots who think they are better than everyone else.It makes me sick." She then sighed a bit as they continued thier walk. " I am just glad I got out of there when i could." Her thoughts then went to her friends and others that had been on medication. Banshee looked at Doll with a thought. " So how far into the area do we need to head?"

Doll nodded, listening. It was eerily similar to her situation--one difference: she took her meds like a good girl.
"But don't you want to be with your family? Don't you want to be normal?" She stopped walking and glanced into the sky.
"If we keeping going this way, we'd reach battery city by nightfall. The cliffs are a few miles away from the city. We'll get there at sunset." She resumed walking.

" I am normal....." Banshee looked confused a bit as her eyes looked back at Doll. " I know I am normal and my family can go get ghosted for all I care." Her eyes then welled up with tears as she said this. " Wait we're going back? But I thought ....I can't go back....."Banshee looked at Doll worried now.

"Oh." Doll had nothing to say to that. "And we're not going back. We're going to the cliffs for shelter."
They were awkwardly silent for a time, just walking in the sand.
"I want to be normal," Ammo quipped suddenly. "It would be nice. I tried it last night. It was fun."
Looking up ahead she could see a shadow on the horizon.
"Almost there."
